La Colline des Roses

The rooster next door gets going loudly from 5 am, so country quiet may come with a wake-up call 🐓. Still, Solange more than made up for it with a gargantuan breakfast. She gave us a superb welcome, and the room felt cozy with very comfortable bedding. Just note that it's upstairs and the staircase is tricky, especially with a child. We had a great stay, and the value for money is hard to beat 👍👍👌

It was a pity there wasn't an entrance from outside. The room itself was pleasant and very quiet, a little away from the village, and the owner was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. Breakfast was adequate, though the bread and croissants were nothing special.

The room was spotless and the bedding comfortable, and we left feeling like we'd really recharged thanks to Solange's genuine kindness. She welcomed us like family and made sure we felt at ease. I loved the decor she created herself, with so much taste and refinement. Each morning she brought us a lovely bowl of fresh strawberries from the farm in Muret, picked differently each day. We also got to know her warmth and her knowledge of the region through the conversations she drew us into. Even the rooster's morning crow felt like a nudge toward a nice day, rainy weather or not. Such a wonderful time, we'll definitely be back!!!!!

The host is so welcoming and really knows how to make you feel at home. This charming little half-timbered house has two bedrooms, both beautifully decorated.
