greet Hôtel Colmar

I was charged for a non-refundable booking, but when an unexpected situation came up, Greet Hotel Colmar showed remarkable understanding and refunded me anyway. That kind of care and professionalism is rare. Their empathy and hospitality made a lasting impression, and I wholeheartedly recommend Greet Hotel to anyone visiting Colmar. PS: From now on, whenever I travel to France, I'll add Colmar to my route and visit Greet Hotel. :)

We paid for breakfast for everyone, but there were no eggs at all, not even for the children. When we asked the morning reception manager if they could provide some for our kids, the reply was rude and offensive. We ended up going elsewhere so the children could eat. The manager's explanation was that the hotel is “ecological” and it was low season. The breakfast was very disappointing and fell short of basic expectations.

For a couple of nights, this is a good budget option and decent value. Our family room was a reasonable size for four, and there’s a small play area for kids in the lobby. The hotel has a restaurant, though I never worked out whether it actually served food: when we asked at 7 pm, we were told it was closed. Colmar center is about a 20-minute walk away.

The staff were helpful and very friendly, and breakfast was really good. The room was modest, but it had what we needed. I didn't expect much from the bed, but it was more comfortable than I thought and even better than the one at home.
