James Boutique Hôtel

I expected better service and quality from a four-star hotel. Our first-floor room was nicely furnished, but the carpet felt unhygienic and dated to me. It looked onto a parking lot and a main road, so we had to keep the windows shut because of the noise and exhaust fumes. We also had trouble with the door lock. Staff spent more than 20 minutes trying to repair it without success, then gave us a manual key. While we waited, nobody apologized or offered us a drink. In short, I’d rate this three stars at best.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and they spoke lots of languages. The hotel itself is cute and comfortable. There’s a connector between the bed sections, so it becomes one flat surface like a proper king bed. I’d definitely recommend it.

Leticia at the front desk really made our stay special. She greeted us warmly and kept making sure we had everything we needed. We’d booked just one night, but wanted to stay longer; with the hotel fully booked, she went out of her way to help us find another place nearby. Even after checkout the next day, she let us leave our bags and car at the hotel while we explored. That care meant a lot. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to everything we wanted to see. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, too. We had a wonderful time at the James Hotel and will be back.

We picked this hotel for our honeymoon and had a wonderful two-night stay. They even left us wine to celebrate. The room was spacious and very clean, with a roomy bathroom and a great shower. We found the location just right, close to everything but far enough away for a quiet night. The staff were welcoming and gave us good dining suggestions. We’d happily stay again and recommend it.
