Hôtel Quatorze

The value just didn't feel right for a mother-daughter trip, though I can imagine it might suit a honeymoon better. Maybe that's what the big tub in the middle of the room is for. The hotel had a pretty good location, a nice balcony, and a generally quiet street. Just be aware that an open-concept bathroom means there's no privacy when showering. My shower was ice cold, while my daughter's was scalding. We didn't eat breakfast there, so I can't comment on it.

We spent four days here as a motorcycle touring group. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we felt very welcome as bikers, which isn't always a given. They let us park the motorcycles securely in the inner courtyard. The hotel was clean and excellent, with air-conditioned rooms, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I left my ring in the room when we checked out. When I called, they kindly said the cleaning lady had turned it in, and they sent it back to me. That meant a lot and added to my already positive impression. Next time I'm in the beautiful Alsace region, I'll choose this hotel again and happily recommend it to friends.

The rooms were beautiful and modern, and the car park was very close. It's a perfect spot for exploring, close to Colmar's main old town. Breakfast was good quality, though not to my taste.

A quiet neighborhood, with the historical center just 100m away. The hotel was great value for money, with modern rooms, very good beds, a large shower, a nice breakfast, and friendly staff.
