Such a lovely view straight out to the little canal! The apartment was cosy, with comfortable beds and sofa, and the TV had some channels we could switch to English so we could actually follow them. It was the best apartment we stayed in during our two-week tour of Europe. Highly recommend!

It's a beautiful home from the outside and the location is great, but inside it's very dirty. Doors, lights, and the shower were broken. The place has clearly been neglected and poorly managed. Fine if location is all you care about, but avoid it if you want somewhere decent to stay.

The historic houses stand on both sides of the winding Lauch River, giving this Southeast Colmar old town area its name and a fairy-tale feel. You can explore it by boat or walk among the cobbled streets, colorful half-timbered houses, and covered market. TripAdvisor awarded it a Certificate of Excellence, and it's easy to see why it's rated among Colmar's top places to visit. It's a memorable stop and well worth seeing. I hope this review is helpful.

A little boat goes back and forth along the canal, and there are several lovely restaurants beside it. There's more to enjoy around Home Little Venice than just the picturesque bridges, and the indoor market is a short walk away. I had a lovely time wandering around. I'd suggest going in the early evening, when the lights come on and make for beautiful pictures.
