Our family of seven enjoyed the place a lot. It’s close to Little Venice and the town center, but set back from the main road, so it was reasonably quiet. There’s a small parking lot out front, around 15 cars, and a lounge in the basement. The house has four rooms across four floors and seven beds. The stairs go on and on, so anyone needing accessibility should stay on the ground floor. I hadn’t known about Colmar’s historic connection to the Statue of Liberty before. Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor and driving force behind it, was born about a seven-minute walk from the house. In the basement lounge there’s a delightful little book about Bartholdi and the Statue, signed by its author. It made for a nice evening’s read and helped explain the Bartholdi Museum and all the Statue references around town. A first-rate place to stay in a wonderful town.

We stayed two nights in one of their Colmar apartments, but I still haven’t received my €100 deposit back. I’ve called and emailed several times, and nothing has happened. It’s a shame that I have to keep chasing them to get my money. We left the room as requested, and I wasn’t told about any extra charges that might have come up. Update from 08.12.2021: After almost two months, I was told they wouldn’t return the deposit because one bed slat was broken. The photo Cotoon Alsace provided shows a poor-quality, unplaned roof batten that they use for their beds. That’s a ridiculous reason, especially when they only gave it two months later. I’ll take legal action against the company. They should be banned from the hospitality business.

You can easily walk to Colmar’s market, bakeries, and restaurants, including Little Venice. The apartment has a charming Alsace style in a historic building, and the kitchen is well equipped, even with an oven.

Beautiful little cottage, and so cozy. It’s right in the center, too.

Everything was well maintained and very clean. The city centre is close by.
