PRALINE

There’s no reception, and the apartment didn’t have any soap for showering. When I asked the manager, the reply was, “There’s no soap provided in the booking page of the apartment”. This was the evening of 14.7, a national holiday when everything was closed. For five people staying four days, there were only two toilet paper rolls. The place was very hot, probably because it had been closed up and not aired out for days. Opening the windows let in street noise from people talking late at night and the city’s cleaning machines early in the morning. It’s an old building with a very squeaky, noisy wooden floor. The floor wasn’t clean, the windows were very old, and the blinds weren’t very useful. Direct sunshine came into the bedroom early and woke you up.
