La Commanderie de Colmar - Gîte - Guesthouse

The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and we liked the cozy living-dining room. We spent a week in Colmar with our children and were really pleased with the location and amenities. The kitchen could use cutting boards, and the bar stools at the high table are a little small. Even so, it would have been a lovely holiday and a very nice place to stay.

Great spot, and the studio is modern and has everything you need. It’s only 12m², though, so when the bed’s unfolded there’s hardly room to move. It was €60 per night, and parking is essential if you’re coming by car, at €10 a day. I recommend it 👍

This was meant to be our weekend at the Colmar Christmas market, but the owner cancelled the reservation three weeks beforehand. We’d booked through Booking.com a year in advance, and there was no way to find somewhere else during the market season. Our weekend was ruined, and we missed the Christmas magic this year. I called and texted the owner and got no reply. Really unprofessional way to handle things.

The person was really friendly, and the place is very nice, right by the Christmas markets.
