The room was bigger than I expected, and the staff were very friendly. Great location, and I’d highly recommend the stay. Two things could be better: the breakfast dishes were all cold, and hot food like omelettes would be nice. You can sometimes hear the train passing, though it’s not that annoying.

A good value stay, with friendly service and a comfortable, nice room. The hotel is conveniently placed for both the station and the old town, and we enjoyed our time there.

I’d probably come back. It’s a lovely little hotel, nicely decorated and very comfortable, with lovely staff and excellent showers. The location helps make up for two small annoyances: the thick blankets made the beds too warm for comfortable sleep, and the breakfast coffee was terrible. Easy enough to plan around if you know beforehand.

The shared facilities were great and well maintained, and there’s self-service luggage storage for before check-in or after checkout. It’s about a 400-500 metre walk to Colmar centre and the train station. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, spoke excellent English, and explained everything in detail.
