We loved how peaceful the pool area was for reading and unwinding, though the water felt surprisingly cold even with the temperature at 28°C. The hotel also has plenty of parking, and the gates close at night; getting in through the intercom was easy. Breakfast was an okay cold spread of cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs and tea, without hot choices such as an English breakfast. Ask a staff member for coffee and they’ll bring it to you. The restaurant was a highlight. The food was delicious, and the red wine was out of this world. They even kept our unfinished bottle behind the counter so we could enjoy it later, which felt personal and accommodating. Inside, the decor was stylish but welcoming. Our beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathrooms spotless. We liked the shared spaces too, especially the chess area, flavoured water and cosy reading room with sofas. The hotel is tucked into the hills, giving it a tranquil feel while still being easy to reach. A bus stop right outside takes you into Nice, so exploring without a car is straightforward. The staff were lovely and professional when we checked in late. Reception closes at 9pm, but they kept in touch and made our arrival smooth. We paid €20 per hour to extend late checkout, which was useful, though worth bearing in mind if you want a slower morning. A peaceful, elegant break with a bit of French charm.

The terrace was lovely and the food tasted great. We also really enjoyed the pool, and the staff were super friendly. It’s a classy hotel in the mountains near Nice, with plenty of style, though some rooms could use a little updating. Thanks for a nice stay.

September made the price feel very reasonable for the room and outdoor pool. The location was so beautiful, and the staff were friendly and spoke great English, which helped. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend visiting and eating at the restaurant.

The food is delicious, and the staff are really attentive. It’s far enough from the bustle of Nice to relax, but still close enough to get there easily. Such a cool place to stay. We’ll definitely come back.
