The room was clean and great, and the view made the drive over the mountain worthwhile. Best of all, the hosts were warm and welcoming and made us feel like family. If you’re unsure, just book this place. We had a very good experience and highly recommend it!

We felt at home right away during our two nights with Claude and Martine. They welcomed us so warmly, and the room was very clean. The pool was lovely, with a fantastic view, and they suggested places to visit and eat. We’d happily have stayed two more nights, and we’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again. Absolutely worth it.

The villa is beautiful, tucked into the hills above Nice, but it was hard to find because there’s no sign. It seems to be a private home, with the owners living in the rest of the house, and there’s apparently no reception. We got a text late in the morning asking when we’d arrive. A pleasant man who spoke only French greeted us. He said his wife spoke English, but my French is limited, and I never met her. Our room was modern and nice, opening onto the little garden and pool. I think it may be the only guest room. He suggested a restaurant for dinner, then served us breakfast at the agreed time the next morning in a beautifully furnished living room. He was kind and gave useful sightseeing tips. I’m not sure how things are done in France, but what about the invoice?
