It was about a 20-minute walk into town, where we found three restaurants and a local shop. Back at the site, we had a level, shaded pitch, hot showers, and everything was kept spotless. Such a lovely, friendly welcome. Fabulous.

We like smaller places, and this one suited us. It’s a nice spot, about half an hour from the Rhône valley floor, with an extremely friendly welcome.

The pitches weren’t very level, so parking took a bit of effort. Still, the host was great and let us choose where to park our motorhome even though we arrived after hours, at 9pm. We could order from the bakery for the next morning, and there was water and other things to buy. There’s electricity, but nowhere to empty or refill the RV. The shower block had hot water, which was great, and the pool looked lovely, though we didn’t have time to stop. Watch which way you drive down: our route had single-track hairpin turns, and doing that in a 7m RV was hair-raising!
