The shuttle was useful, but you need to book it ahead. From the airport, pickups only start after 18:30, though the meeting point is easy to find. One receptionist was helpful and accommodating; the other wasn’t. I had to insist there was no hair dryer in my room before she eventually gave me one. I brought bottled water and skipped the food, so I can’t comment on either. The hotel is very worn and dated. Paint is peeling in the bathroom, with a little mold, and the hallways felt kind of creepy at night. We managed to get some rest before an early flight, which was about all we needed. I knew it was a budget place and didn’t expect much, but next time I’d pay a bit more for one of the nearby hotels.

I was nervous after reading the mixed reviews, but the stay turned out better than expected. We got there easily by public bus. The bathroom and linens were clean, and the laminate floor and comfortable beds worked well for our family. With young kids crawling around and touching everything, I felt fine about them doing that here. The 4 am airport shuttle was great for our 6 am flight.

The public areas could use an update and don’t feel very modern, though the room price makes sense compared with other hotels nearby. I got a room with no notice at 7 in the morning, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was clean, the shower was good, and the bed came with extra pillows. From T1, it’s a short walk or a free shuttle ride. I’d had a foul mood and just needed somewhere to crash for a day, and comfort hotel came through.

I had to head home two weeks before my one-night booking after getting injured in an accident. I contacted the hotel to ask if my two friends could use the reservation under their names, but after several attempts I still haven’t had the courtesy of a reply. They arrive in the evening and don’t know whether they have somewhere to stay, so they don’t want to turn up without a confirmed booking. Ignoring a simple email like this is pretty awful, and it makes me wonder how other matters are handled too. After seeing comments from other unhappy customers, I’ll flag this as somewhere to avoid in future.
