ibis budget Aéroport Lyon Saint Exupéry

Our flight got in at 1am, but the shuttle and check-in were smooth and efficient. We also appreciated the standard midday checkout the following day. A perfect stop for continuing on by TGV or Rhone Express.

The hotel is convenient for getting to the airport, but we felt we were treated differently. There were four of us in two rooms, and staff said the room card system was malfunctioning. Each time we needed to enter, someone from reception accompanied us. It felt like they wanted to control who or how many people went into the room. We later saw other hotel guests using the card system, which left us disappointed. I appreciate the hotel’s reply and look forward to receiving the proof of the reported malfunction so we can put our doubts to rest.

The reception arranged a driver for my work trips. He was punctual, very neat, and had a clean vehicle. The staff were helpful, the rooms very clean, and the location was good. There’s also a free airport shuttle.

For a short trip, the rooms have what you need: they’re simple, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds and well-kept bathrooms. Breakfast is basic but sufficient, and check-in and checkout are straightforward. The staff are friendly and efficient. Its biggest plus is how close it is to the airport, which takes the stress out of early flights or late arrivals. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s a reliable, practical option if convenience matters most.
