Auberge La Croix Blanche

Our waiter was the one bright spot. He tried really hard to make things pleasant despite the situation. The rooms and beds were very poor, and the whole place is in a terrible state and needs a complete refurbishment. We got dinner and breakfast, but only after someone went to the local supermarket to buy the food. The photos are from the place's glory days in 2015/16; sadly, it looks nothing like that now. It could be nice, and there's no real local competition, perhaps that's part of the problem. I'm afraid I can't recommend it.

We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that our group decided to come back later in the week before we'd even seen the main course. It's a friendly little family-run place, with simple, tasty food that's good quality and great value. Our mixed family group of 14 all found something on the menu and felt welcome. It made our holiday brighter, such good evenings out.

The location was convenient for us since we were travelling by car, and it was very good value for money. The rooms are basic but comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the meals are excellent.

We stopped here on our drive to the south of France, and it was just right for a night's stay. The host and his wife were both very welcoming.
