Hugues's dinners were the best meals we've had in France. We've eaten at several Michelin Star restaurants since arriving, and his cooking surpassed them all. Alexandra's breakfast was a feast too, with fruit, cheese, fresh bread and croissants, yogurt, homemade jelly, juice, coffee and tea. I'd been looking forward to this trip for ten years, and the stay felt like a fairy tale come true. The accommodations were amazing. The river setting and nearby little villages looked like something from a movie, only better because it was all real. Alexandra and Hugues made us feel as if we were visiting old friends. If I could recommend one place in France, it would be here. Florida, United States

I joined the European Heritage Weekend and found the program excellent and really interesting. There was a tour, a wrestling concert, traditional songs, and a lecture. Thank you so much! I hope to bring my children to see your home. I didn't stay at the bed and breakfast, so I can't rate it, but the owners were very kind and welcoming.

We had a wonderful night this summer, in 2024. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, and the lords of the castle were so lovely. We got to relax in the main room, shared by the castle's three rooms, with a herbal tea. It felt like a moment outside of time.

Don't miss the sumptuous breakfast made with local produce, and ask to see the chapel, which is really interesting. Alexandra and Hugues can tell you endlessly about the castle's history and renovation. It's a stunning medieval castle still lived in by its historic owners. The Viscount and his wife are especially welcoming and interesting hosts. The rooms respect the history while mixing in modern touches cleverly.

Our room and bathroom were really spacious, and the decor was tasteful in both the room and shared areas. It's a guesthouse in a beautiful setting with excellent amenities, and the owners gave us such a warm welcome. I can only recommend staying here.
