We had a lovely three-night stay at No12 Rue Du Château. The rooms are wonderful, and the bed was big and comfortable. I especially liked the small lounge area in my room, which was great for relaxing. There was a great selection of teas, along with lots of thoughtful touches. The decor is tasteful, and interesting ornaments are dotted around the B&B. Thanks to Colin and Shane for being such friendly, accommodating hosts!

Super friendly and definitely worth a visit. It's ideal if you're travelling south, close to the A10. The rooms are lovely, the price is good, and breakfast is delicious.

This place is a real gem, and I highly recommend it. It's in a great location, five minutes from the motorway. The lovely town by the river has nice restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walk. Colin and Shane are fabulous hosts and really nice people. They couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The rooms are wonderful and tastefully decorated, as is the whole house, which is absolutely spotless. The attention to detail was excellent, and everything you need for a great stay is there. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Breakfast was very good and beautifully presented, with plenty of fresh produce. This will be our number one place to stay when we're next in the area.

We stayed at Number 12 over our wedding weekend and couldn't recommend this bed and breakfast more. It is a real hidden gem. The decor throughout the house and in our room was beautifully put together, making it feel like a wonderful home away from home. Our room had a lovely carafe of wine waiting for us, cosy waffle dressing gowns, and amazing views of the Charente River. Colin and Shane were warm, friendly hosts. Each morning, we had a spectacular breakfast in their gorgeous garden, with the river flowing in the background. If you're in the region, don't hesitate to stay here. It's well worth a detour even if you're not nearby. This is the kind of hotel you dream of finding while travelling through the scenic parts of France.

We had a wonderful stay in Shane and Colin's beautiful home. It was a harmonious, lovely place, and the fun, welcoming hosts made us feel relaxed and happy. The house was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Our room was well equipped, with a spacious bed, a strong shower, and a comfortable sofa. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and a real treat in their fragrant, colourful garden. All in all, it was an unforgettable stay.
