We had a wonderful stay in a lovely location.

The quiet setting was a real highlight. The house sits back from the road, so we couldn't hear traffic, with a plum orchard and a few of the owner's chickens around. We stayed for a full week in August in the Lascurades bed and breakfast, not the larger gîte. The owner greeted us with genuine warmth. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the bedding was in good condition. We had our own bathroom on the landing, and everything was on the first floor of the owner's house. Breakfast was generous and varied, served hospitably while still giving us privacy. We were very happy with the stay and touched by all the owner's thoughtful little touches.

The grounds were peaceful and full of flowers, and we had the pool all to ourselves. It felt like paradise. We spent a week in the cottage. It was roomy, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we could need. The owner was discreet but always attentive.
