The garden is magical, and the Yoga Shala is such a special, unique space. Yobaba Lounge is one of a kind, with a stunning house, astonishing decor and incredible spaces. The food was delicious, and Gertrud was one of the most welcoming hosts I’ve ever met. The village still has that old French vibe that makes it so charming. Thank you, Gertrud, for a beautiful stay. I look forward to seeing you again.

The garden is full of plant and animal life, and the chickens are sure to make your heart sing. Nearby, there are historical and natural wonders galore. Chalabre is a lovely village where neighbors know and support each other, and visitors are welcomed with joy. Gertrud and her team made me feel welcome, supported and seen. Yobaba Lounge feels like a home away from home, where you can connect inwardly and with others in a meaningful way. Gertrud is a beautiful teacher, chef and human. Merci à tous for an unforgettable visit. Until we meet again!

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Yobaba on a weekend silent retreat. We had wonderful food, swam in the lake, rested and read. The food was magnificent, and the best part for me was Gertrude’s guided yoga and meditation. She’s kind, approachable and authentic. I highly recommend Yobaba and Gertrude’s space.

On this 5 day 'Breath from the Soul' retreat, being able to simply be without questions or pressure felt like a luxury. The noble silence gave me a chance to reflect and turned out to be surprisingly liberating. With the wonderful vegan food and daily meditation and yoga, it’s a retreat I’ll no doubt return to. Gertrude’s energy and kindness fill the space with warmth and tranquility that’s hard to find in everyday life.

This was the best retreat I’ve ever been on, a perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Great healthy food was served every day. The setting felt magical, surrounded by nature and charming medieval villages. Gertrud and her team were fantastic. I can’t recommend it enough.
