Le Chai

My husband and I are walking the Camino and gave ourselves a perfect evening at Le Chai. The house was spotless and beautiful, and our room was quiet, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Breakfast suited us perfectly. The hosts were so kind, and we left feeling relaxed. We highly recommend Le Chai!

The gardens are peaceful and lovely, the beds comfortable and quiet, and everything was cleaned with real care. The breakfasts were spectacular too. This is one of the most delightful places I’ve stayed. The house feels thoughtfully put together, with memorable decor that’s been chosen with real passion. The owners take great pride in the place, and it shows throughout. It’s real luxury for excellent value.

The bedroom’s river view was stunning, and the woman who helped us was very kind. We stayed in the Chai suite to visit Aurian winery, which is literally next door, so we could relax after tasting wine without having to drive. The suite had a roomy bedroom and bathroom, with a large tub and walk-in shower, plus space for a console table and wardrobes. There was also a separate sitting area with wardrobes where we could keep luggage and change.

The reviews and rating for Le Chai were right on the mark. We came across it on Google Maps while looking for a stop on our road trip through Europe. The house is lovely, the owner gave us a fantastic welcome, and the dinner they cooked was delicious. We’d all happily stay here again.
