Our room was quiet and pleasant, even with a big group staying elsewhere in the hotel. The proprietress worked incredibly hard to make us feel at home. Highly recommend.

Room 7 was clean, including the bathroom, but otherwise pretty basic for a 3-star hotel. The bed and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. It’s right on the main road, so the noise makes it hard to leave the window open. The air conditioning was loud too, and even switched off it made a growling sound every half hour. I wouldn’t stay in that room.

The setting looked nice, so we came in hoping to have dinner. Only four other customers were there. We said hello to the waitress and sat down, then waited 5, 10, 15 minutes without anyone greeting us again, bringing a menu, offering water, or anything. We finally left, and the staff didn’t seem bothered. Pretty disappointing for a 3-star hotel and restaurant.

10/10
The restaurant staff were easy to talk to and really polite, and the food was delicious. The meat was so tender. I’d especially recommend the ribeye, rack of lamb, and duck confit, a local specialty. The hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and felt very welcoming. I had an amazing time and would absolutely come back. 💙🌼

A lovely old hotel, restored nicely. The rooms don’t have windows and feel a little sterile, but they’re perfectly fine.
