The owners are pilgrims themselves, and that relaxed, genuine feel comes through. The garden is lovely for taking a break, and the decor has real style. You can bring your own food, though I really enjoyed what was on the owners' menu. Highly recommend it, even under its new name, "Pause ton sac."

After a long day of walking, arriving here on April 17th was such a pleasure. The two brothers made me feel welcome straight away, and the place is full of original, artistic decor. Breakfast was incredibly generous, there are all the comforts you could want, and the price is low. One of my best guesthouse stays since Le Puy-en-Velay, and a stop I wouldn't want to miss. Thanks to the brothers, and all the best! Maïte from Brussels loved hearing the Adamo and Arno duet before heading back to Belgium 😊👍🇧🇪🎶🎸

The rooms were furnished really decoratively, just like in the photos 🙃. We had an apartment, which was okay, but it was very cold even in mid-May, so we had to switch on the radiators. A traffic light blinked into the room all night. Breakfast wasn't enjoyable either: we had to prepare everything ourselves, and the bread had been left out long enough to get quite dry. We had coffee and moved on.

The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was generous. We also enjoyed the excellent duck charcuterie platter, with a friendly little bar nearby, plus a kitchen and dining room guests can use. The two brothers and their father run a wonderful place. They're helpful and funny, and you feel at home as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend it.

In this incredible Gers region, people deliberately leave the Camino de Santiago route to follow in the footsteps of Cyrano and d'Artagnan. We had a magical little visit, with a wonderful welcome and a lovely time spent with Laurent and his brother. It was all about good encounters and sharing.
