La Galise is in a great, central spot. During Easter break we didn’t have far to walk in our ski boots to reach the nearest lift, and breakfast was sufficient. The staff were friendly and easy to approach. Our room was on the third floor, and I didn’t like having no lift; the rooms up there were also dark, and I prefer a bright bedroom. It wasn’t perfect, but we had a lovely stay.

A kind, service-minded couple run this small family hotel with friendly staff. It’s close to the slopes, and the breakfast is good. There’s a handy self-service ski room with lockers and boot heaters, just what you need as a skier. There’s no elevator, so be ready to take the stairs.

The hotel is well run, with a lovely atmosphere and a perfect location. It only offers bed and breakfast, which works well for us since Val has so many restaurants.
