Chambres d'hôtes La Frise

Just right in every respect. Five stars.

Breakfast was a real treat, with lovely honey, homemade jams, a range of chocolate spreads, bread, and yogurts from local producers. Camille was happy to work around our breakfast preferences, which were included in the price. Having a fridge and a table for lunch or dinner made it easy to take things at our own pace. We came across the two rooms unexpectedly and booked in a hurry, but got a very friendly welcome and thoughtful touches that helped us feel at home over four nights. The road was noisy now and then because of traffic, though it didn't spoil the stay. There was no tobacco smell, as the new owners don't smoke. Thanks for making it such an enjoyable visit.

We spent a week in this quiet place and would happily come back. The room was roomy and comfortable, and Camille and Philippe welcomed us warmly with such good humor. Breakfasts were generous, with local and homemade things, including excellent cookies baked early each morning. We definitely recommend it.

Our hostess likes letting guests try new flavors, and breakfast was presented beautifully. The welcome was warm and pleasant, too. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I'd gladly recommend staying here.
