Le Clos des Sources

It's a nice place and could work well for a family get-together. The woman who runs it was accommodating, but there were several problems. The refrigerator wasn't turned on before we arrived and took two days to get cold. We lost €120 worth of meat. I asked her to close the gate, but she gave excuses instead. At €650 a night, I expect the gate to be closed when I ask. She told us while we were already on the road that sheets cost extra. Since we'd booked directly rather than through a booking platform, I think she should have said that earlier. There weren't enough cleaning cloths either. The "jacuzzi," really a bubble pool, was full of insects and hadn't been maintained. That was a shame, though not a major issue. The equipment is poor quality. The woman called to accuse us of breaking things, including a deckchair that collapsed under my 70 kg uncle. The chair's quality is clearly questionable. She also blamed us for breaking the bottoms of doors we hadn't even opened. She wouldn't accept that her equipment was wearing out, didn't believe us and chose to cut off contact. A shame, because it's still a nice place.

We've been here twice now, for short, relaxing breaks in May and October, without the kids 😁. The setting, the location and the owners are all great, and there's nothing to complain about. The private hot tub is a real bonus, especially at this price, since those are getting rare. Breakfast is included, with excellent homemade cookies. See you soon!

It’s a charming, peaceful spot, really pleasant and surrounded by nature. But a water problem lasting half the weekend spoiled our stay. A small goodwill gesture would have been appreciated. Such a shame.

The chalet was spotless and laid out really well, but the shower stopped working halfway through. We were five people, three of them children, and running out of water after barely 12 hours was frustrating. After a full day of hiking, there was no shower. €180 for 36 hours, and we were very disappointed.
