Auberge de la Tradition

We stayed one night at this small, welcoming family-run place. Dinner was fantastic and breakfast was really good. Just be aware they only take cash, no credit cards.

It feels like stepping into another time at the Auberge de la Tradition. The old-fashioned details bring back memories for older guests, while younger people might find the decor very fashionable. It even has that feeling of visiting an aunt, with your own napkin ring, your back to the fireplace, and the familiar chiming clock. It seems like all that's missing is a cat rubbing against you. Chrystelle and David made us feel completely welcome. The room was cozy, the bedding was good quality, and I slept very well. Dinner was generous and homemade, and breakfast was simple, tasty, and complete. Thanks to them, and good luck with the new life you’ll be starting soon ;-p

Once you arrive at the inn, you won't want to leave. The room was quiet, and the welcome, information, and service were all better than I could have hoped. The meals deserve their own mention: generous portions and dishes with the quality of Michelin-starred cooking. Cathy and Mitch.

The rooms were comfortable and the bed was very good. The owner was attentive, and we got a warm welcome. I especially enjoyed the good meal and the homemade jams at breakfast. I’d recommend staying here.
