We loved waking up to the amazing view each morning, and tasting the château's local wines was a treat. Pauline made us feel very welcome. The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels felt lovely and soft. It's a great base for exploring beautiful Burgundy. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

We stayed two nights while travelling through France and had a lovely time in this peaceful place. It's just 10 minutes from A6, yet feels properly rural. The views over the vines are stunning, there's good walking, and you can get to Mercurey mostly off-road, about a mile away. The village has excellent boulangeries and a great butcher. We bought delicious lamb and chicken and barbecued them in the garden. The pool catches the sun and was lovely for a swim. We ate on the terrace overlooking the vines, with a red squirrel in the oak tree beside us. There's a large wine selection at the gite, much of it from the chateau, where you can also taste wine. The gite was well equipped, with comfortable beds, good showers, and nice bed linen. A great find.

Pauline is so friendly and helpful, and the wine is great too. We've had two lovely holidays here. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with spectacular vineyard views from the house and garden. The swimming pool is great. We'll definitely return.

We were lucky to be the first guests in “The House of the Grand Four” after its sparkling renovation, completed in Spring 2019. This ancient stone house dates from around 1733 and has two floors, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and modern amenities throughout. It's part of the historic Chateau de Chamirey grounds, just 50 meters from the large, elegant tasting room. We could be walking through Premier Cru vineyards within five minutes. Pauline, the hostess, is family, so you're well looked after. She's gracious and friendly, and knows the region well. We had a great time at this new offering by Les Maisons de Chamirey.

Majestic is the word that comes to mind for Les Maisons de Chamirey. Pauline and her husband, Amaury DeVillard, have made a wonderful place in this restored farmhouse, one any visitor to Burgundy or France would enjoy. The vineyard views are stunning, and the house has been renovated and decorated beautifully. It's also well placed for exploring the main sights of Burgundy. The DeVillard's world-class Burgundy château and tasting room, Chateau de Chamirey, are only footsteps away. The hosts are simply the best. It was a special stay for our family, and we hope to return. You can't go wrong renting this idyllic house.
