The grounds are gorgeous, especially the immaculate garden, and dinner was good. But the experience felt oddly rigid. At dinner our paired wine arrived too late, so we ate without it, and breakfast was disappointing. Outside restaurant hours there was no food at all; after a long drive and with nothing to eat, we had to plead for crisps and cheese biscuits. Staff also seemed disengaged. When we asked what to see, reception handed over a booklet and told us to read it. We had no swimwear and asked if any was for sale, since they sell shirts and hats. We just got a no, with no hint about where to look. It’s a beautiful place, but it runs like an Autogrill: you get exactly what the menu says, nothing more. It needs more personality, care, and better service.

Everything felt easy and enjoyable from the moment we arrived to the end of our stay at Rochecotte. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, and the staff were so kind, welcoming, and ready to help with whatever we needed. They had taken care of every detail. We loved being here and would happily come back. Highly recommend!

We were grateful for the experience and will surely return. The food was wonderful, and the pleasant, professional team looked after a lovely property set in beautiful grounds.

The food and wine were extraordinary, and the waiters really knew their stuff. The dining room was decorated with great care. Definitely a five-star experience.

Fabien made the stay especially memorable. He welcomed us so warmly and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience, and everyone else was kind too. The property itself was stunning, with amazing customer service. Easily our favorite place from two weeks traveling in France.
