We had a really enjoyable week here. The hotel is close enough to walk to Coulon's sights and some nice restaurants. Our room was comfortable, and the hosts were wonderful.

The homemade cakes and local bakery treats, jams, and yogurts made breakfast a real pleasure. Paolo was a lovely host, easy to talk to, flexible, and happy to handle reasonable requests. He also speaks several languages. Our clean, nicely decorated room faced the river, and the bathroom was well looked after and worked perfectly. The hotel is sunny and quiet, with boat hire, restaurants, and bars just a few meters away. Paolo, well done, I'd happily recommend staying here.

We were able to leave our bicycles somewhere safe, and the hotel is especially well placed for riding the "Velo Francette." It’s a good base in the Marais Poitevin, and the price seemed fair for the location. The proprietor was both professional and welcoming. Our modern room looked out over the canal and was comfortable. Breakfast was good, with lots of different homemade pastries.

We had a lovely three-night break in a really beautiful part of France. The triple room was spacious, the shower room was good, and both the hosts and staff were friendly. The location was terrific.

The beds were okay, though not especially comfortable. We loved the riverside setting, and breakfast was fantastic, with homemade cakes. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
