Disney Hotel Cheyenne

I love coming back to this hotel, I've visited since I was a child. Housekeepers are always lovely, rooms are clean, and the Woody decor is very cute. The theming is adorable, the gift shop is nice, and all the staff are kind and helpful. Chuck Wagon is brilliant, and there's a Starbucks too. The hotel is in a great area, about a 20-30 minute walk from the parks, with a shuttle bus service as well. I could rate it even higher!

We arrived around noon and, as a nice surprise, the reception staff were lovely and had a room ready for us. Our building was close to reception and the park shuttle stop. The room was clean, and although the bed creaked when we got in or out, it was really comfortable. We mostly just used it to sleep and shower. It's about a 10-minute walk to the park area, and we'd stay again.

The room was cozy and comfortable after a long day, with a thoughtful theme and lovely design. The walking route to the park and shopping area was easy to follow and pleasant, and there are shuttle buses to the different Disney hotels. We were given a room near the far end of the hotel, so it was a long haul from reception with our big suitcases. A small internal shuttle or train would make things easier for guests with heavy luggage or kids. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the park, so be ready for some walking, but we had a good stay in a fun room and nice surroundings.

The hotel felt dusty throughout, with carpets everywhere, and the atmosphere was more like somewhere to find a bed than a hotel. Because it's in such a popular area, I got the impression customer satisfaction wasn't much of a concern, and the service felt indifferent. The only thing I liked was the Starbucks inside. We spent two nights there in January, and I was glad we didn't book a third. The rooms were quite cold, and the bathroom either had no heating or it wasn't working. If you're bringing a stroller, I'd avoid the second floor. If you have allergies or similar sensitivities, the dusty environment could be a problem. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. It also isn't worth choosing just because it seems cheaper, since an Uber to or from central Paris costs around €100 on average. Who's staying, how old the children are, and what you expect from a place to sleep are all worth considering.
