Novotel Suites Perpignan Mediterranée

We arrived early after driving from Barcelona and were welcomed straight away, with our room ready for us. It was spacious, well located, and had all the usual amenities. The hotel is above an underground car park and gives easy access to the autoroute toward Narbonne or Barcelona. Local restaurants are also conveniently close. The breakfast room felt small and impersonal, but it was more than adequate for what we needed.

I stayed here with my two daughters and we had a great time. The room fridge came in handy, and having a kettle and microwave made evening meals easier when we didn’t want to go out. The location is about seven minutes from the town’s main tourist area. Breakfast was excellent, with something for everyone. The shower was fantastic, and the towels and bedding were really lovely. The rooms are very good, though you can hear a little hallway noise, barely noticeable. We left something behind, and the hotel team kindly called to ask if we needed it. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

I’ve been returning to this hotel every year since 2008, and plan to keep doing so. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and we had a lovely view of the mountains and part of the theatre. There’s a great breakfast selection, enough to leave you feeling very full. There’s construction work next door at the moment. It didn’t affect our Saturday to Sunday stay, although on our first visit it was noisy until 5 pm before stopping.

The rooms were very quiet, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. We also appreciated the fantastic soap and body lotion. Parking nearby was free over the weekend, and the location was great. The breakfast looked tempting and was reasonably priced, though we didn’t try it. Everything was perfect.
