The only issue we had was in room 116: sometimes a terrible sewer smell came through the bathroom smell valve, so that should be checked. Otherwise, the room and bed were comfortable and clean, breakfast was excellent in both quality and quantity, and the staff were extremely kind and attentive. Parking was fine, and it was reassuring to know the car was safe. The location is very good for spending the days you planned in Paris. I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart!

Anthony and Hassina were especially friendly and welcoming, and made the stay more enjoyable. The room was a good size for Paris standards and comfortable, and cleanliness was excellent. Everything about my stay at Ibis La Défense Courbevoie was amazing. I definitely recommend it and would gladly come back!

My room was dirty, especially the bathroom, where the toilet seat had visible urine stains when I arrived. Cleanliness clearly wasn't a priority. The room was also freezing in winter because the thermostat was locked at a maximum of 19°C. I complained several times, but staff refused to adjust it and said 19°C was hotel policy. As a solo female traveler, I had two alarming privacy incidents. First, another couple came into my room after being given an active key card for what they thought was an empty room. We were all shocked. Another morning, a maintenance worker unlocked my door early without knocking or warning me. Reception dismissed my concern, saying they assumed guests were out at that time, and wouldn't acknowledge the seriousness or take responsibility. Reception staff were rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful from the start, and met my concerns with indifference. One particularly rude receptionist, a short white woman, kept cursing at me in French and speaking loudly and aggressively. I repeatedly asked her to lower her voice. As a foreigner who doesn't speak French, it was incredibly frustrating. When I raised the cold room issue and asked to set the thermostat above 19°C, she wouldn't listen and just kept raising her voice. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. The unprofessional staff, lack of privacy and security, freezing room, and poor hygiene make even one star feel too generous. I'd strongly advise against staying here.

Amor, our concierge, made us feel welcome and offered to hold our luggage while we went sightseeing. The service staff were polite and respectful, and the room was clean to a good standard. A great hotel for tourists.
