Airelles Courchevel, Les Airelles

We came to Les Airelles for the dessert buffet and had a wonderful time. The staff welcomed us with so much kindness and grace. Charles was especially warm and attentive. He walked us through the dessert choices, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us pick the best ones. His care and attention to detail made the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Courchevel!

We called twice and were told we could walk in for coffee and desserts in the lobby. But once we got there, they said we weren’t welcome unless we had a reservation or were staying at the hotel. That was the opposite of what we’d been told on the phone. The staff were very rude and unprofessional. When we asked to speak with the manager, Hugo said he wasn’t available to meet us. I’d planned to stay here on a future trip, but now neither I nor my friends will come back. UNPROFESSIONAL.

We were told to be ready for an activity at 12:30, then left waiting for more than 40 minutes with no explanation. A mistake by the staff member in charge led to the activity being cancelled, so our whole day was wasted. We’d told him clearly that we were stepping away briefly for coffee and would return at the agreed time, but that was either ignored or mishandled. Even worse was his reaction: he smirked, acted arrogant and indifferent, and didn’t apologize, take responsibility, or try to fix anything. That level of unprofessional behavior and lack of accountability is shocking for a hotel claiming to provide quality service. It reflects very badly on management and raises serious questions about how guests are treated when something goes wrong.

The rude, impolite way we were treated made me feel unwelcome. Receptionist Hugo was especially dismissive and unhelpful. First impressions matter, and this one left a bad mark on my stay.
