Hotel Le K2 Palace

A great place to stay. The staff were all accommodating and easy to approach. I'd recommend it.

Tea time at K2 Palace was lovely. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and nice.

We loved the Bottleneck restaurant, which is exceptional and a must-try, six stars in my opinion. The hotel is also an easy downhill walk from Courchevel 1850's main luxury shopping area. I had the best deep tissue massage here, and the pool, spa, and gym were amazing. This is an excellent hotel, modern and tastefully done, a great piece of architecture in its own right. Now I understand why it's called a “Palace,” but you need the $$$$$. It was our first time in Courchevel, and we chose Le K2 Palace carefully for ski-in/ski-out access, a ski concierge, luxury facilities including a pool and spa, and good restaurants. Having stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, I knew Courchevel 1850 was the high-end part of town, where the most luxurious hotels are. It was very satisfying to find that Le K2 Palace exceeded our high expectations on all fronts, which is rare. The whole team helped make our stay memorable: the concierge at the front door, reception, the amazing ski concierge team of margo Quentin jeff and Bart, and Sara, our breakfast waitress. Thank you for being so professional, polite, courteous, and above all welcoming. Our room was very well designed, had plenty of cupboard space, and overlooked the ski runs and mountains. I only have two small complaints. The ski-out is mostly a blue run, so it's not good for beginners, though I believe the team will help you get onto the mountain regardless. The shower in our room was unusual and open, so water spilled out. It had an overhead shower and a handheld one without a pole. That's personal preference, but I like an adjustable hand shower rather than one I have to hold.

The service, food, and rooms were all perfect, with two stunning restaurants. I can't give it five stars because the prices are outrageous, though that's what you'd expect for this level and location. If it's within your budget, you won't find better.
