L'escale Provencale

Ghrislaine❤, you’re such a lovely, caring and friendly person. Thank you for the incredibly warm welcome. Before I even booked, you answered my questions, kept me updated, and shared lots of information about the area. You also tried hard to help me arrange a ride from the airport, and even suggested other hotels and B&Bs. It was my first visit to Fayence, and you were helpful from our first messages right through to the end of my stay. When I arrived, you made me feel at home straight away. I loved your beautiful home, with its pleasant scent, cosy feel, thoughtful decor and comfortable bed with lovely linen. Everything was very clean and well presented, just like the photos. I slept well in the quiet, peaceful house. Breakfast was fresh and served outside with the morning air, sunshine and a view of the pool. I especially liked the bread, croissants, little pastries, homemade jams, juice, yogurt and good coffee. It was average in some ways, but still great. I also enjoyed our evening conversations, the cheese sandwiches you made for me, and all the laughter. It felt as if we’d known each other for years. You were concerned about me being alone without transport to the nearest restaurant. I didn’t order from the restaurant you recommended because that kind of food wasn’t for me, so you made sure I had something to eat and looked after me. I really appreciated that, Ghrislaine❤. You did everything you could to make my stay comfortable and memorable. You’re a kind and honest host with a real gift for hospitality. Thank you for having me in your home. I’d love to return to Fayence for longer, explore the scenery, and stay with you again. I highly recommend your home. Wishing you and your lovely family a wonderful festive season.
