The ladies who run the place were so warm and kind, and Jennifer deserves a special thank-you. Our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, with a mezzanine for the three of us. The big bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was a nice continental spread. We brought our two excitable dogs and they were welcomed too. Since we visited in March, we didn't try the pool, though I can imagine it being great for a summer stay while exploring the area. Better than a lot of local four-star hotels!

Christine was such a lovely, helpful host, and the whole place had a generous, welcoming feel. Our room was wonderful, and it was calm, with parking right outside the house. Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade marmalade. The swimming pool was a lovely part of the place too. Thank you, Christine.

The peaceful atmosphere made this a cozy place to stay, and having no TV in the room added to that. We booked through Booking.com without any hassle, and the owner gave us a genuinely warm welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and thoughtfully arranged, and we really enjoyed the pool, though we were short on time and hadn't brought our swimsuits. The only snag was parking: we had to circle the narrow streets for a while before finding a free spot. Very good value for money.

We were extremely disappointed. The place is right in the village center, which makes parking difficult. At breakfast, the owner, Christine, was very intrusive and gossiped about other guests. As people of color, we found that shocking. I'd advise everyone to be careful.
