Laurence and Rodolphe were wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful, with spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a nice lounge where we could enjoy wine in the evening. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh-baked tartes scenting the place each morning. Their restaurant suggestions led us to fantastic dinners. Since my French is very limited, they arranged an ebike rental for the day, and I had a great ride along the coast. We’ll stay with them again next time we visit this lovely part of Normandy.

We only wish we could have stayed longer at La Cantellerie. The hosts made us feel at home right away, and Rodolphe and Laurence had already shared useful tips before we arrived. The house is beautifully kept, from the lush garden at the entrance to the fresh flowers, thoughtfully chosen furniture, cozy bedroom, and modern shower. Each morning, they served a delicious breakfast made with fresh, local ingredients. Thanks again for sharing the granola recipe. We couldn’t have asked for a better place in Normandy, and wholeheartedly recommend La Cantellerie to visitors.

Laurence and Rodolphe looked after everything, from arrival and checkout to making and serving breakfast. They were always happy to help with requests and suggest places to visit or eat. The room was clean and nicely decorated, as were the living room and breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious and generous: homemade yogurt, muesli, and jams, fresh fruit, butter, bread, croissant or pain au chocolat, plus a little welcome surprise every day. My one small suggestion is a warmer light in the room. Everything else was perfect!

Laurence and Rodolphe were lovely hosts. When a reservation mix-up happened at a nearby B&B, they found us a room at the last minute. Breakfast was the best, with homemade yogurt and jam, authentic French toast, and eggs cooked to order. I loved their garden and spent some time sketching there.

We stayed for three nights and found the guest house charming, spotlessly clean, and simply but beautifully furnished. Laurence and Rodolphe were excellent hosts, and the location was a great base for exploring the region. Highly recommended.
