The ocean view from the indoor seating made it easy to unwind after our long drive. We’d found the place by chance, and the meal ended up being one of our best in a while. My fish was incredible, tender and full of flavor, and every course from the starters through dessert was a treat. The staff were warm and attentive too. It gets busy with hotel guests, so book ahead.

The steak was the best part of our meal, cooked pink in the middle just as I’d asked. The sauce with it was horrible, though, and the fish and chips were oily and looked like a waste of fish. I didn’t think that dish was worth the price. Service took a long time to get to us, then we were offered wine twice even though we don’t drink alcohol. When I went to pay, both wine charges and coffee were on the bill, so check it carefully. Still, we had a good time, mainly thanks to the steak.

The oysters were the standout, and the beachside setting was lovely. We also tried the fish and chips and a salmon and shrimp pokebowl. Service was excellent, though the food overall was just okay. I thought the prices were a little high for what we got, but maybe that’s just me.

There’s a great view, and parking was available. We had fresh food, with plenty of dishes and set meals to choose from, including seafood, fish, and oysters. Lunch arrived quickly and was good. Service could have been better, though it was pretty good for France.

The staff were attentive, caring, and professional, and they made sure we were looked after throughout the meal. The chefs put real care into the presentation and detail of the dishes. A memorable dining experience, and credit to the hospitality industry. 10/10.
