The rooms could use an update, but they were adequate, and the staff were helpful. It’s a great base for getting to the beaches and towns around Normandy.

There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and our toddlers, 18 months and three and a half, had a pleasant stay. Getting up the stairs with children and bags was difficult, so next time we’d probably ask for a ground-floor place. We had to leave the buggy in the car. At Pierre&Vacances in Courseulles-sur-Mer, everything worked and the staff were very friendly. The place felt a bit run down and needed a deep clean, as is true of a lot of accommodation in France. The swimming pool could get quite busy. We weren’t impressed, but were satisfied with our stay.

Sixteen of us stayed across three houses and had a wonderful time. Some of the group even talked about returning with their families. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, and the accommodation was clean, spacious and well equipped, with an inviting pool. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Xjavier and his staff at reception and Nicolas from maintenance. Thank you, Team. It’s a wonderful place to stay in Normandy with family or friends.

We found availability in August at short notice, and the price was good. It’s a handy base for exploring the area, with town center and Juno Beach both about 5-10 minutes away on foot. The residence is quiet and close to the beach, and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can order pizza, bread and pastries, or breakfast at the front desk. My appartment was well equipped and had a terrace overlooking the river, with plenty of birds around, which fits the residence’s name. The welcome kit includes cleaning items, which was useful. Four-person apartments should work well for a couple, though space would be tight for a family. There’s an indoor pool, but it was pretty crowded.
