I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but the place was better than I expected. I don’t speak much French, but the waiter communicated well in English, and they were easy to deal with. The food and drinks came quickly and tasted really good. Don’t let the other reviews put you off, this is a good place to eat.

We waited 1h15 for our mains, and had to remind the server we were still waiting after the table beside us had already left. The food itself was ok, but the organisation was poor. When we paid, we politely mentioned the long wait. The server replied, "a Sunday by the beach, you should avoid restaurants". A pathetic response. It also felt like you had to be local or know someone who worked there to get any attention.

The fish and chips were delicious, and the wait staff were really friendly and spoke English. We stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful time.

This feels like a place for locals who appreciate French food and culture. If you're not French or don't speak French, I'd say don't come here. Basically, leave it as a special local place.

Fast, friendly service, and the homemade fries were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is well located, affordable, and works really well for families. I didn't stay at the hotel.
