We booked a picnic for after the tour, and it was great. We could finish the bottles after tasting, and the picnic spot had an amazing view. The owners were very kind. The tour lasted 1:15 hour, and everything was explained perfectly. We got to sit and taste two big glasses of wine. Highly recommended!

The winery itself is beautiful, and the wine was very good. Brigette (sp?) was a wonderful host, sharing local and family history and showing off her wine skills superbly. She explained everything in a friendly, heartfelt way.

After the winery tour and tasting, we had a gourmet picnic with wine, and lunch was fabulous. Our hostess was so welcoming, friendly, informative, and helpful. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the visit and learned about their winery and the wines of St Emilion. Do yourself a favour and visit Chateau Gibeau.

Appointments are essential, as the vineyards are busy with winemaking all year. A big thank you to Britany for fitting us in at short notice for a tasting of their current wines at Château Guibeau. I only wish we'd had time for a full tour. They shared fascinating details about the family's history and their vineyard and winemaking process. We brought home some excellent wines directly from the producer for a fraction of the retail price. Thank you, Guibeau. We look forward to enjoying the wine and sharing its history with friends and family.

It feels like home, or the home you imagine having in France's wine country. The bedrooms are beautiful, and the views from them are charming. An absolutely delightful place to stay.
