L'Antre de Broceliande

The room was spacious and decorated around a theme, and the location is close enough for visiting Mount Saint Michel. But the service was very poor. Check-in was only allowed from 6pm to 7pm, at a time that suited the owner rather than the guest. We'd driven for hours before arriving. Breakfast was left entirely unattended, with hot drinks in flasks. Other customers had sometimes eaten or drunk what we'd ordered the night before. The bathroom and toilet called “private” were across the hallway, beyond a lounge shared with other guests, which was awkward at bath time and when trying to sleep. The outdoor steps were very slippery in the rain and had no handhold. On rainy days, we were told to leave the car on the street because the garden got very muddy and the back way was slippery. I could say more, but I won't recommend this ANTRE or return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hostess was welcoming and knew the area well, and the rooms were nicely appointed. Breakfast was tasty too.

Martine is such a lovely person, and the breakfast was delicious, clearly made with care. The place itself is beautiful and really cozy, with a great bed, bathroom, and accommodation. The location is handy, very close to the terminal where you catch the bus to Monte de São Michel. I recommend it!

The little house is charming and only a 10-minute drive from Mont Saint-Michel. Rooms are roomy and furnished with a lot of care, and the owner was very helpful. Prices are reasonable, and breakfast was hearty and good.
