Les Rainettes

A convenient choice if you have an early flight the next day, since it's very close to the airport. The room isn't new, but it's kept in fairly good shape, and the bed is comfortable. The area is quiet and away from busy roads, though there are a few restaurants nearby. We also found the Wi-Fi stable and fast, which is handy when traveling. We got a warm welcome.

The owner was very accommodating and even offered us cider when we arrived, but I can't understand the positive reviews. Our ground-floor room was tiny and dirty, with a narrow bed. The shower door wouldn't shut properly and water spilled onto the floor. Breakfast could have been good, but the salami and butter were several weeks past their best-before dates, and the rillettes already had mold on them. We were meant to share the small kitchen table with the family staying in the other guest room. It seemed they hadn't been told about COVID-19.

The room was lovely and quite spacious, and we were greeted with a nice chilled cider. Parking is a bit awkward because the driveway is narrow and there's not much space, though you can leave the car outside. I also missed having a little green garden area where we could sit.

The breakfast food was expired. Butter wrappers had their dates folded under so customers couldn't read them, the ham was in plastic with no date, and the jam and rice were past date too. And so on. This really needs a fraud investigation. I can't understand the customers leaving positive reviews. P.S. The owner had my review taken down from another site.
