The owners are incredibly friendly and speak great English. When our taxi didn't show, the owner drove us to a nearby château so we wouldn't miss the wedding. Taxis to Bordeaux are expensive, though coming back the other way is fairly cheap. The accommodation is a former wine storehouse converted beautifully, with very comfortable rooms and everything you'd need for either a short or long stay.

A lovely location and lovely hosts. It feels like a home away from home, secure and relaxed, with a really unique character.

Chai de Mario has a charming garden with a vegetable patch and magnificent sunsets. There's a tree-lined greenway nearby for cycling or running. We spent a few days there and got a very warm welcome from the lovely couple who run it. The accommodation is charming and well equipped, with a kitchen, bicycles and outdoor games. Sleeping arrangements are comfortable, with three bedrooms: two doubles and one with three single beds.

Set in a very quiet spot, this place is fully equipped and has air conditioning on the ground floor. It's in a former wine bottling hall, with interesting furnishings. The landlords are easygoing. Highly recommended.
