greet hotel Annecy Cran Gevrier

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and our room was amazing with a great view, room N. 108. Breakfast was yummy and filling. It's 30 minutes by bus to the centre, or 5-7 minutes by car!

The reception looks modern, as it does in the photos, but the rest of the accommodation is shabby. Our family of five had two rooms, which seem fairly typical, and both were disappointing. One had a toilet seat detached from the toilet, something the cleaner must have seen but left unfixed. The bathrooms were in poor repair and dirty in places you don't easily see, including behind the broken shower gel dispenser. At around €100 per room per night, you can do much better. The location isn't good either.

The common space and game room felt homey, and breakfast was splendid. The staff were pleasant, and the view from room 108 was incredible. I had a great experience at the greet hotel and will stay here again next time I'm in Annecy.

We booked Greet hotel for a night off from camping and wanted a bed, air conditioning, and a bathroom. It didn't feel any better than a campsite, and we regretted spending the money. The toilet wouldn't flush unless we used a pen to push the button. We reported it right away, but no fix or offer of compensation followed. The sink overflowed after a few seconds, and the shower curtain was so long it smelled bad and felt unhygienic. There was also a huge spider on it.
