Domaine de Givré

The owners are what make this such a five-star place. We stayed four nights somewhere quiet and lovely, and the breakfasts were marvelous, generous, and beautifully presented. We also had dinner there twice, and both meals were great. There's a large, secure parking area, plus a sheltered little utility room in the yard where we could store our things while traveling for wine. Thank you, Veronique and Ronan, for the lovely atmosphere and all your helpful tips about castles and restaurants.

After such a warm welcome, we spent three lovely days at this B&B. Vero and Ronan have made a secluded spot where you can unwind and take in the beautiful French countryside. Breakfast was romantic and generous, with plenty of good things to eat.

We had a beautiful weekend at this medieval domaine. It was peaceful and quiet, yet Chinon is only a five-minute drive away. Our charming room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was lovely, especially the oeufs a la coque and melon. There were lots of thoughtful touches, and it was a perfect place to relax between visiting nearby Chinon, tasting wine, and seeing chateaux. A wonderful spot for a holiday!

Vero and Ronan gave us a wonderful welcome at this lovely place, which has a great history. It’s only ten minutes from the wonderful town of Chinon. Our daughter loved it, and we hope to come back soon.
