The food at the attached restaurant was delicious, especially the andouillette en Troyes. It's a charming, friendly little hotel in a quaint town, and though it's old, it's clean too.

There was nobody to welcome us, just keys left in the door and we had to manage on our own. The TV in the room had no signal, and the mattresses were worn out and full of holes. A constant beeping came from the concierge area downstairs, which was wide open, and the busy road nearby was pretty noisy too. The bathroom bin was already full when we arrived, and the floor was dirty. It looked like they had only given it a quick sweep. At 25 euros I might have understood, but 50 euros felt like a rip-off. Also, the restaurant is no longer operating. It's up for rent and in a completely run-down state. When I arrived, I honestly thought the place was a squat.
