La Ferme de Bout de la Ville

Breakfast was the highlight, with fresh croissants, local jams and honey, cheeses, several kinds of bread, coffee, tea, and even dessert. We left full and very happy. The quadruple room was spotless and had what we needed for our one-night stop on the way to Caen for the D-Day celebrations. There was even a kettle and tea bags ready in the bathroom, and the shower with its multiple head jets was excellent and felt luxurious. The place has a lovely rural feel, with donkeys and a pheasant outside that our kids loved. Great restaurants are a 7-minute drive away. I did miss having access to a microwave, though everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommend for a peaceful, authentic countryside stay in Normandy.
