L'escale Marine, The Originals Relais

The hotel was clean and nice, but the air conditioning didn’t work, and my kids and I couldn’t sleep because of the heat. Staff seemed indifferent and just said it wasn’t that hot, even though my 10- and 8-year-old were too warm to sleep. Around 90% of the outlets also didn’t work. We tried them all and found just one that worked, at random. Maybe they’re being “eco-friendly”! I was given an email for complaints, but I’ve sent three messages over the past four months and nobody has replied. Customer satisfaction clearly doesn’t seem to be a priority.

We only stayed two nights, but we were really glad we picked this hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Renovations have left the place comfortable and nicely decorated. Well done, I’d gladly recommend it.

We left today, after two nights from May 23 to 25, feeling very upset. The rooms were super small and there was no minibar. The bigger problem was the restaurant service at night. On the first evening we arrived half an hour before closing and they didn’t want to serve us. The next night we came an hour and a half before closing so that wouldn’t happen again, but they still refused, saying they had a very large table. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.
