My Polish fiancée worked here years ago, which is why I came, and I'm glad she persuaded me. The cassoulet was my first, and eating it stirred up nostalgia, rustic care, and a strong feeling of family warmth. It felt like getting a hug from an old relative you hadn't seen in ages. One of the biggest food experiences of my life. Fantastic, and something I wouldn't want to undo.

The filet steak was especially good, and we'll definitely come back. We had a lovely dinner last night, with classic French dishes cooked to a high standard and presented in a more modern way. The traditional setting was pleasant, and the food was fantastic for a reasonable price.

The fish was lovely, and the chef brought it to our table himself. He was warm and welcoming. One person in our group didn't like fish, so the accommodating waitress asked what we didn't enjoy and arranged a different main for them. Charming and original restaurant, well worth a little detour. Highly recommended.

Our room looked recently renovated, with a very modern style. The shower deserves five stars. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was nice.

Stephanie helped us English speakers communicate with her patron perfectly. Nearly 30 of us arrived in the area at the beginning of May 2013, and many of us hope to come back soon for more wine, food, and countryside. The meals here were properly French, savoury, and sustaining. The wines were varied and intriguing.
